The first exoskeleton to become a centaur.

What I am going to show you is an exoskeleton robot, exoskeletons are an artificial exterior structure with a motor, sometimes there are those without a motor, simply a structure, but normally they usually have some type of motor that can help people who have mobility problems to be able to move more easily through the streets and whatever they have to do.

It can also be used to carry loads, such as heavy backpacks, etc., it turns out that what I am going to show you is scientific research, it is an exoskeleton, but to become a centaur, a human horse, according to the developers, who are from China, it reduces the metabolic cost of walking by 35% and you can also carry loads.

More than a centaur, it would be more of a donkey, you would be more of a pack donkey because you can carry backpacks and things for military use or excursions, I suppose it would work wonderfully, this special limb connects to your back with an elastic coupling so as not to hurt you, as is obvious and according to researchers, it reduces the metabolic consumption of walking by 35%, it also reduces foot pressure by 52%, because the user could lean a little on that structure.

It also allows loads of 20 kg and more, if they develop it with more power, I suppose it can carry even much larger loads, it could carry another person on it, for military use I think it would be useful to carry loads and also for excursions, to carry loads or even for emergency situations, it can carry 20 kg, but a more developed one with more power and better carrying an injured person on a stretcher, a kind of stretcher robot dog would be better in any case, but you see, they also promise agility because it can move through different environments and according to researchers you can turn with this second pair of legs into a real centaur, into a centaur cyborgs.

I think the idea is good anyway, it is scientific research despite seeming like a joke, published in a magazine specialized in the robotics sector, so it is serious.

Sorry for my Ingles, it's not my main language. The images were taken from the sources used or were created with artificial intelligence
