Xyroptila oenophanes moth
When most eyes missed it, a tiny creature caught my attention. It hung quietly on the tip of a leaf with a hole. It was a Xyroptila oenophanes moth from the Pterophoridae family. The size of this moth was very fine, about the size of a small as the tip of a stick. Its unique shape made me unable to just pass it by. Its shape resembles the letter "T". A very unique shape, I have never found a moth with a shape like this before. An extraordinary discovery.
At first glance, this moth looks like a small twig stuck on the tip of the leaf. But when we observe it closely, we realize that it is a small miracle of the insect world hidden among the dense leaves. Judging from its color, it is indeed very similar to a twig. Brown combined with golden yellow that looks like a small piece of jewelry specially designed by nature. Its long legs also add elegance to it.

I didn't know her till today.
it's natural that you don't know it. This insect has a very fine size, almost invisible. and it also doesn't like to fly here and there. It spends more time just sitting there like that. I, who love the world of insects, also found it for the first time.
I love them too. My love for insects began the day my parents gave me a wonderful book, Entomology for Children. I confess there were creepy illustrations (a cricket's head is creepy up close), but despite that, I was fascinated. Thank you for showing me this discovery; it's a miniature treasure.
I saw this insect for the first time today.
Same. This is my first time finding it too. Unique and interesting. Thanks for stopping by.
🎉🎉🥳 Congratulations 🥳🎊🎊

i always prefer sharp eyes ( in focus ) when someone makes insect macros , i do understand that it's almost impossible with smartphone , but it's worth to work on, makes it more pleasant to watch.
