Stinking Passion Flower

avatar

Amidst the lush, serene greenery, a Stinking Passion Flower is in full bloom. It blooms gracefully there. It doesn't make any noise, let alone scream for attention. It displays its beauty in a meaningful silence. The flower exists like a little secret amidst the lush undergrowth. From a distance, the flower appears unassuming, but when you get up close and examine it closely, its shape is truly extraordinary.

The petals are pure white, adorned with light purple stamens. Not only that, but in the center of the petals is something even more striking: its shape resembles a tiny tree standing serenely. It's the pistil. This unique pistil shape is rare in other flowers. So far, I haven't found a pistil with this shape in any other flower.

According to my own observations, this flower is a favorite among insects and small birds in the wild. Many bees and butterflies flock to it. Small birds like finches also visit. It looks like this flower produces a lot of nectar.
