Ruellia repens flower
In small, often overlooked corners, nature always has simple ways to show its extraordinary beauty. And this morning, I managed to find a flower blooming among the dense undergrowth. Actually, it wasn't alone, there were many similar flowers there. However, most had already wilted and fallen. The one I photographed looked fresh, likely having recently bloomed. This flower doesn't last long, probably only until nine in the morning. However, if the weather is cloudy, it might last a little longer. Judging by its longevity after blooming, this flower could be considered a morning-greeting flower.
It was a Ruellia repens, one of the beautiful flowering plants that grows in the wild, belonging to the Acanthaceae family. Not only is it beautiful, but it's also a major magnet for small insects in the wild. I saw countless insects approaching the flower, coming one after another. Not only insects, but also several small birds visited the flower. It seemed the birds were also enjoying the delicious nectar the flower provides. I could only enjoy them with the naked eye, I didn't want to capture them. They weren't willing for me to approach them.
