Oxyopes macilentus spider
On a pale green leaf, I saw a tiny creature resting silently. He was very calm on the leaf, I slowly approached the place where the little creature was so as not to disturb his rest. He was so beautiful that I couldn't wait to take a picture of him.
His slender body was golden orange decorated with a unique pattern with black and white characters. Not only that, his legs also attracted attention. His long and slender legs were decorated with fine hairs that resembled thorns ready to ambush prey to be made into delicious food at any time. His legs looked a little sensitive to the surrounding environment, a little touch on the leaf where he stopped, his legs immediately moved.
Wait a minute, have you ever seen this little creature? If not, let's get to know him. Well, that is the Oxyopes macilentus spider, one of the beautiful spiders from the Oxyopidae family. This spider is one of the spiders that hunts prey without relying on its web. He plays among the leaves. In the agricultural environment, this spider is very much needed, it is a natural pest exterminator. It will eradicate pests that try to damage the leaves of a plant.
