One-spot grass yellow butterfly
In a small corner hidden from the hustle and bustle of the world, I found a one-spot grass yellow butterfly that I had been eyeing for a long time. In fact, I encountered this butterfly almost every day while exploring nature, but I had never managed to capture it. Every time I encountered it, it was in flight. It didn't soar high in the air like other medium- and large-sized butterflies.
This butterfly always flitted among the surrounding plants. Its flight distance was also short, appearing to move from one plant to the next. One thing that made it difficult to find was that this butterfly always hid behind leaves or stopped on the underside of leaves. It also seemed sensitive, immediately flying away when approached to find another hiding place. That made it difficult to hunt for this butterfly.
But this time I felt lucky, because I managed to find it perched on a flower, not under a leaf. Initially, I approached the butterfly at a close distance, as I often do with other insects. However, this butterfly refused to approach me, it flew away. Fortunately, it returned to perch on the flower. I took that photo from a bit of a distance, I zoomed in to the maximum to take the picture.
