My entry for the Phone Photography Contest - 86

Among the dense green leaves, a beautiful flower was in full bloom. The flower's shape was exquisite, its petals layered like a heart with a never-ending story. The flower bloomed quietly in a corner of the garden, neither asking to be seen nor to be praised. But its beauty was enough to hypnotize anyone.

Every fold of its petal seemed to hold a million stories understood only by those who live in the wild. Its color was also exquisite, bright red like a heart in love, beating softly in the morning sun, trying to hide beneath the dense green leaves. But I managed to find it.

Actually, this flower wasn't just beautiful. It also had a fragrant, sweet, and fresh scent. The scent was very light, and fortunately, my nose was still functioning well, so I could inhale it🤭

All images were taken using a realme 7 Pro cellphone.

We call this gumamela in our country and the single-petalled flower of this kind is edible. My mom adds them in salads and makes omelettes.
It can be a nice too which is very refreshing and healthy as well.

So much beauty in the marpacíficos (that's what this flower is called here in Cuba), and you've managed to capture it so beautifully. Bravo!
