My entry for the phone photography contest - 94

Before me, the orange flowers bloomed gracefully. Their vibrant color immediately caught my attention, making me pause for a moment, gazing at them in awe. Their dense, neatly arranged petals resembled small, glowing fireballs.

The color of these flowers wasn't just a striking orange, it conveyed a warm and bold impression. They grew together on the same tree in large numbers, yet never competing with each other. I watched them bloom in their own way, each possessing its own charm. Some were fully bloomed, others were beginning to wilt, and still others were just beginning to open up to the world.

Here in my area, these flowers are called marigolds. Behind their beautiful name and stunning color lies a scent that some people might dislike. The scent of marigolds isn't as fragrant and sweet as roses and jasmine. It's a strong, herbal scent, strong and sharp.

But don't worry, this scent isn't noticeable from a distance. It's only noticeable when approached or touched. Not only do flowers have a scent, but the leaves and stems also have a scent. The scent of the leaves and stems is stronger when touched than the scent of the flowers.

All images were taken using a realme 7 Pro cellphone.

It's wonderful how you transform a color that many overlook into light... Bravo!
