Long-winged grasshopper

As the sunlight began to lower its gaze, the light that had previously looked so hot now slowly changed to become softer and golden in color. In the midst of the tranquility between the gate of afternoon to the gate of night I found someone standing upright on a green leaf. He was a long-winged grasshopper or in Latin known as phaneroptera brevis, a grasshopper from the tettigoniidae family.

The grasshopper is very small in size and almost invisible. Its color also blends in with the leaf where it perches. If we look at it with the naked eye, the grasshopper is only plain green. But when it enters the camera screen and is zoomed in. It is only then that it is seen that the grasshopper's body has a unique pattern. Try to observe carefully the pattern on its wings, fine lines that resemble leaf veins that are neatly arranged look like they are woven directly by the twilight light.

Yes, that's right. From a close distance it's also hard for us to see. The perfect camouflage color it has.
