little black knee grasshopper | Methiolopsis geniculata

Hello everyone, good afternoon wherever you are, how are you this afternoon? Hope you are fine wherever you are.

I"m back here again and on this occasion I want to show you some beautiful shots of a pair of beautiful grasshoppers having an outing in the wild garden. The grasshopper didn't care about my presence nearby, as if the world belonged to the two of them. Even though they act very relaxed, you still have to be alert considering that they are insects that like to jump here and there.

Grasshoppers are an insect that has a very beautiful body shape, namely long and slender. The colors are also very beautiful, consisting of green, black, white and brown. Attractive color combination and good for camouflage. Apart from that, grasshoppers are also a type of insect that has strong jaws and legs. And one more thing is that it has antennae that are shorter than its body. And it is also an insect that is easy to find.

Places that grasshoppers like are small bushes, grasslands, fields, parks, rice fields and other open places. In essence, grasshoppers will occupy a place that they feel is safe to find food and also to reproduce. In Latin, this grasshopper is known as Methiolopsis geniculata which comes from the Acrididae family or better known as the little black knee grasshopper.
