Lesser dart butterfly | Potanthus omaha

Hello everyone, good afternoon wherever you are, how are you this afternoon? Hope you are fine wherever you are.

I"m back here again and on this occasion I want to show you some beautiful shots of the lesser dart butterfly. In Latin, this butterfly is known as Potanthus omaha which comes from the Hesperiidae family. This butterfly is one of the small butterflies and has dense hair. Even though its body size looks small, its body is very sturdy.

The color of this butterfly fits perfectly with the background of lush green leaves. A suitable background and with the help of soft sunlight, this butterfly managed to appear elegantly on my camera screen. But there was a slight drawback, I couldn't capture when the butterfly opened its wings. Even though at first I saw it standing there with its wings open, when I approached it the wings were pressed together very tightly. But it doesn't matter what's important is that I managed to capture it, whatever the pose, it's still beautiful.

This butterfly is very easy to recognize, it has a small body and its flying technique is super sharp. The flying style is also interesting, before landing at its destination the butterfly will spin around first. After making several rounds, then land at your destination. In other words, before landing they first make sure that the place is safe to visit. This butterfly spends more time in the grass, visiting flower gardens only when it needs energy intake in the form of nectar. The rest of them are in the grass.
