Larva of the oleander hawk-moth
Look, I found something interesting while walking among the lush leaves. At first I was shocked, I thought it was a small snake. After making sure it turned out to be the larva of the oleander hawk-moth or in Latin known as daphnis nerii, namely a larva from the sphingidae family.
Its body is very soft, but its movement to walk is very agile. At that time he was looking for leaves that looked delicious to enjoy. When he found a leaf that was a little left he immediately stopped, he immediately checked the leaf stalk. He examined it carefully before eating the leaf.
This caterpillar has a large body size, unlike the caterpillars I usually find. Its size is about the size of an adult's thumb. Its color is also very beautiful and fresh, its whole body is pastel green to bluish decorated with white spots that are neatly arranged along the side of the body.
The black spiracle holes also add to the visual beauty of the caterpillar's body. A pair of large blue-green eyes that are very striking. Those eyes are what made me a little goosebumps to approach him. Don't forget the tip of his tail is bright orange.
