Jumping spider
In a small, often overlooked corner among the fresh green grass, a jumping spider stood quietly on the tip of one of the grasses. It was as if the spider were standing on the edge of a silent world. There was no screaming, let alone singing, just silence embraced by the cool morning breeze. Its small, light body seemed to follow the movement of the leaves dancing with the wind. It stood there perfectly still, unmoving. From its seemingly calm demeanor, I could tell that the spider had made peace with every possibility that came its way.
The spider was very small and its color was also very simple, a grayish white mixed with jet black. Something was different when I photographed this spider. Usually, my phone camera can focus on the entire spider's body, but today was very different. My camera focused on its eyes. When I pointed it elsewhere, the area I was aiming for was invisible, blurry. But I didn't mind, perhaps the spider and my camera were working together, not wanting to show off any other body parts. It just wanted to show off the beauty of its eyes.
Look at its beautiful gaze, it's not intimidating, but rather full of curiosity. Its gaze is so innocent, like a child silently observing the world. When the sunlight reflects off it, its eyes sparkle beautifully, resembling tiny stars in the morning light.
