Jewel flea beetle | Chrysocoris stollii

I"m back here again and on this occasion I would like to show you some beautiful shots of the jewel flea beetle. Have you ever seen this beautiful beetle? Well, this beautiful beetle is known in Latin as Chrysocoris stollii, a species of beetle that comes from the Scutelleridae family.

The color of this beetle is very beautiful, namely its entire body is metallic green which is decorated with characteristic black spots and there is a little orange polish on its back which adds an impression of elegance to the beetle. The legs are also metallic green, the eyes and antennae are jet black.

I found this beetle on top of one of the leaves of a plant which is also green. Most likely this beetle is hiding from enemy attacks. The beetle that I found is not doing well, one of its membrane wings is outside the elytra. In fact, the wings no longer look perfect, getting back under the elytra wings is impossible, considering that the wings are already deformed.

But the rest of the body still looks perfect or without defects. Fortunately, his head was not the target when attacked by the enemy. If the head is attacked, it is likely that the beetle has moved naturally. But he was still lucky and escaped the attack. At the time I found it camouflaged in green leaves. If we don't look closely we can't see the beetle, its color is almost the same as the color where it stops.
