Jelly fungi

This morning, nature once again offered a small miracle that might have gone unnoticed by many. I discovered a cluster of jelly fungi growing on a decaying log. Many people consider such wood to be useless, yet this morning, nature demonstrated that it still serves a purpose; what has died and begun to decay has not truly come to an end instead, it marks the beginning of new life.

Look at those tiny fungi growing gracefully upon the decaying wood. Their colors are bright and fresh, blending seamlessly with their surroundings to create a harmonious little scene. They have a charming shape, resembling tiny spoons. That fresh color and delightful form seem to whisper that hope is always present, even in the most unexpected places. What makes this even more remarkable is that they are growing outside of the rainy season; we are currently in the dry season here. Finding them now is truly an extraordinary miracle.

The charm of these fungi is exquisite, yet their beauty is fleeting. Being very soft and delicate, they likely last only half a day. Typically, such tender fungi cannot withstand hot sunlight, strong winds, or rain and today, the weather here is scorching.
