Indian Cupid butterfly
This morning was cloudy and chilly, so I didn't explore much today because I wasn't fully recovered. I just strolled along the path leading to the farm. In a small bush by the side of the road, I found an Indian Cupid butterfly perched peacefully on a gently curled blade of grass. It was the perfect setting for this butterfly on this quiet, chilly morning.
The butterfly was very small and had a very simple coloration: its wings were a gray base mixed with black and orange. At first glance, it looked ordinary, especially for its small size. It was often overlooked by the hurried eye. Beneath that simple coloration, there was something that caught my attention. At the tips of its wings were two spots that looked very much like a pair of eyes. The bright orange combined with the jet black made the two spots look very much like a pair of eyes. The presence of a tiny tail further confirmed the possibility that they were eyes. They were false eyes used to deceive its enemies.
The fresh green grass provided the perfect backdrop, creating a soft, blurry backdrop, making the tiny butterfly appear even more graceful and peaceful as it appeared on my phone screen on this chilly morning. Its tiny feet gripped the leaf it was resting on, balancing itself as a cool breeze greeted it. It stood there so serenely, as if teaching me how to enjoy the beauty of the morning amidst a world that was constantly moving.

The butterfly looks like it has two pairs of eyes. One pair in front and another pair at the back. Nature is truly amazing.
