Indian cupid butterfly

On an old, often overlooked branch, I found a pair of indian cupid butterflies resting there. I saw their bodies intertwined, as if they were performing a sacred ritual to continue the story of life. I stood near the butterflies for a long time. They remained silent on the branch, oblivious to my camera being pointed in their direction.

But behind their stillness was a sense of meaning and purpose. In the stillness they created, life was moving, subtly but surely. Their ritual wasn't overdone or rushed; they performed it slowly and carefully, as thousands of generations had done before.

A breeze came, but it was very gentle. The surrounding leaves also played a role, shielding the butterflies from the increasingly hot sun. After photographing, I didn't immediately leave, but instead enjoyed the beautiful moment again. And at that moment, I realized how tightly nature maintains balance at this fragile yet crucial moment. It was truly extraordinary.
