Hubner wasp moth
From behind a gently swaying bush, something caught my attention. I slowly approached the spot. Once I got close, I realized the creature that had captured my attention was a Hubner wasp moth. It was perched peacefully on a plant stem.
Its wings were fully extended, revealing a unique pattern. The pattern was beautiful, resembling a transparent glass window. This pattern is rare among other moths. Furthermore, its coloration was stunning: black and orange. Its base color was orange, adorned with black stripes, reminiscent of a tiger.
Judging by its fading coloration, it appeared to be aging. But its beauty still shone through, and it still looked absolutely stunning. Especially with its plump body, it was truly adorable. The feathers on its body were slightly thicker than those on its wings.
Its antennae, which had initially been standing upright, slowly moved. It seemed to be signaling me not to get too close. After I stepped back a bit, it returned to its still state, just as it had when I first encountered it.
If you want to see it firsthand, you can visit the grass and small bushes found in the wild. These moths love such places. It's the perfect place for them to survive, from egg to the beautiful creature I saw here.
