Henosepilachna pusillanima beetle

On the tip of a very young leaf, a tiny beetle was happily strutting its stuff. It kept moving around on the leaf, looking like a model having a photoshoot, constantly changing poses. I approached it cautiously so as not to scare it and make it leave.

As I approached, I immediately turned on my phone's camera to make it easier to photograph it. It kept moving nonstop, making it a bit difficult to capture. I took many pictures, but only three were good, many were blurry, and some didn't even show the little thing at all.

While I was busy photographing, it suddenly moved to another leaf. Oddly, when it arrived at a new spot, it simply remained there, motionless, just as it had been when I first met it. Perhaps it was satisfied with its pranks. Or perhaps it had found the perfect spot for a photoshoot with me.

The leaf it was perched on was indeed perfect for this photoshoot. It had an elegant feel, resembling a meticulously crafted photo studio. Especially the position of the leaves, one above and one below, gently embracing the tiny beetle, the star of the show. Here, I find a harmony that's hard to describe in words. I'll let the pictures do the talking.

I like the 5th photo more, the details are quite beautifully visible and capturing the beetle in between the leaves is so cool 😎

Yes, that's right, the little ones look more graceful. Thank you.
