Great eggfly butterfly | Hypolimnas bolina

I"m back here again and on this occasion I want to show you some beautiful shots of the great eggfly butterfly. In Latin, this butterfly is known as Hypolimnas bolina which comes from the Nymphalidae family. The color of this butterfly is very beautiful, namely the basic color is blackish brown decorated with white and metallic blue. The color variations are attractive and stand out so they are easy to recognize.

This butterfly is one of the butterfly species which has a very distinctive wing pattern, in the form of white transverse stripes, on the back wings the white transverse stripes are decorated with metallic blue on the edges which adds an impression of elegance when the butterfly stretches out. its wings and when it flies. Thanks to its pattern which has a prominent visual appeal, this butterfly has succeeded in becoming one of the spectacular butterflies in its world.

Apart from that, this butterfly is also a butterfly whose flying method is very interesting. This butterfly flies with slow movements as if floating in the air and its wings are often spread out. This butterfly also likes exposure to gentle sunlight for sunbathing, like when I found it.

In terms of habitat, this butterfly is the same as other butterflies in general. Butterflies like open places such as parks, fields, forest edges, roadsides and so on. In essence, butterflies like safe places to breed and find food.
