Genus Graptomyza

Hello everyone good morning.....

Well, this morning there was a beautiful fly in the flower garden. In Latin, this fly is known as Graptomyza, which is a genus of hoverflies. These flies come from the Syrphidae family. This fly has a super beautiful appearance, this is the first time I have encountered this fly. If I weren't a lover of macro photos, I would most likely ignore an insect as beautiful as him. If seen with the naked eye, the beautiful appearance is meaningless, it will not be visible. Its size is too small, making it often overlooked. Judging from her super beautiful appearance. It's really extraordinary. But what's the matter with his body size being too small.

This fly is one of the insects that is very active in the morning. Even when I found this the weather was very cold, it was cloudy, there was no sign of the sun starting to shine. But these flies have been flying here and there looking for a drop of honey to fill their empty stomachs. It's rare for me to see any insects roaming the garden in this cold weather. This fly is very special and I was very lucky to find it.

Even though it was accompanied by very cold weather, the fly looked very strong. There were no signs that he had a low body temperature. That is one of the advantages he has. Can look for food when other people are helpless.
