Fly of the genus cosmina

Atop a white flower in full bloom, a fly of the cosmina genus perched peacefully. It appeared to have just finished its delicious breakfast on the flower. The fly appeared very calm, but its front legs were constantly moving, which kept me on my toes as I photographed it. I was afraid it would leave me. However, I was wrong, it remained there until I finished.

When the sunlight hit its tiny body, it reflected a beautiful metallic sheen, the colors green, gold, and copper red blending beautifully in one frame. This color combination perfectly matched the beautiful white and purple flowers it rested on. The fresh green leaves surrounding it provided a beautiful backdrop for the tiny creature. All the colors blended beautifully in one artistic frame. Truly beautiful, nature always has its own way of surprising us every second.

That bit about the front legs fidgeting while you framed the shot had me smiling. It must’ve been doing a tiny workout after breakfast, yet it stayed like a patient model. The way you caught the light turning its body into greens and copper shows a great sense of timing. Did you use the Realme’s macro mode or manual focus?

I just use the regular camera mode with zoom. Thanks for stopping by, friend.

Nice, that makes the steadiness even more impressive. Zoom can get shaky; did you brace the phone or just tap to focus and hold your breath? Also curious how much zoom you used.
