Fly from the genus Isomyia
On a dry coconut leaf arch that was beginning to rot with time, I found a beautiful fly from the genus Isomyia. I saw the fly standing there quietly, perhaps enjoying the beauty of nature in silence. I slowly approached, not wanting to disturb its peaceful existence.
It remained calm even though I was already very close. I immediately captured the beautiful moment. I had a little difficulty photographing it because it was so small. However, that didn't deter me from taking the picture. I kept trying, and finally, my camera managed to capture its beauty.
This fly's coloration is stunning, metallic green blends beautifully with golden red and copper, looking like rainbow flakes falling and clinging to its tiny body. This color combination is rare among other insects. This combination of colors not only enhances its beauty but also protects it from the harsh conditions of this world.
