Flesh fly
Have you ever seen this insect? I'm sure everyone knows it and has seen it often. In fact, many people consider it a nuisance. It's everywhere, both in clean and dirty places. It loves places with meat; meat is its food. This beautiful insect is a carnivorous insect from the genus Sarcophaga, or more commonly known as a flesh fly.
However, the one I encountered was in a clean place, in a garden of fresh grass. It perched peacefully on one of the grass stalks. When we find it in a clean place like the one I found, we forget its occupation, which is exploring dirty places. We're fooled by its stunning appearance.
Its body is gray with a jet black stripe. Its large red eyes make it even more striking. Its transparent wings give it a beautiful sheen. A pair of short antennae look adorable. Its sturdy legs make it look dashing. This insect is truly extraordinary.
