Dusk dasher dragonfly
When walking in the wild, we often find beautiful insects perched on plant branches, one of which is the dusk dasher dragonfly or in Latin known as tholymis tillarga which comes from the libellulidae family. I found the dragonfly perched on a dry plant branch, almost invisible, its color almost matches the place where it stopped. It is lucky to have its body color like that, brownish yellow, a color that can be used for perfect camouflage among dry plants.
Its slender body, transparent wings with distinctive pattern details add elegance to the dragonfly. But still its existence is often overlooked. There is one more interesting thing about dragonflies, namely they have compound eyes that can look in all directions and their vision is also very sharp. That is one of the main advantages of dragonflies. Their sharp vision makes it easy to hunt prey. They are also one of the insects that play a role in the ecosystem, they help eradicate pests on plants.
