Detached Dart butterfly
On a gently curled blade of grass, a Detached Dart butterfly sat gracefully. It looked very serene, seemingly enjoying the peaceful silence of the morning. Its wings were tightly closed, displaying a beautiful pattern. Its entire body was a brownish-orange color, accentuated by black spots, which contrasted sharply with the fresh green leaves in the background.
This butterfly was very simple, not flashy or overly extravagant, but that was precisely where its true beauty lay. Its charm was captivating; I'm sure anyone who saw it would be captivated by its allure. The butterfly was small, but its body looked plump, and its feathers were very thick and soft. It resembled someone wearing a thick jacket in winter. A unique characteristic, one that larger butterflies rarely possess.
This butterfly is active when the sun is still shining softly. Its habitat, like other butterflies in general, is a favorite of colorful flower gardens and fresh grass in the wild. Lately, during the summer heat, I've noticed butterflies and other insects spending more time in the grass in the wild than in flower gardens. They do visit the flower gardens, but only briefly, to fill their empty bellies.
