Common sailor butterfly

avatar

Look, I found a common sailor butterfly perched quietly on one of the wild grass leaves. I found it very early in the morning, when the sun was not yet shining brightly and the dew was still wetting the leaves. In Latin, this butterfly is known as Neptis hylas, which is one of the medium-sized butterflies from the Nymphalidae family.

The butterfly is very beautiful, brownish black combined with white which looks very stunning. Not just a pattern, but it is a story of life. The beauty it has is like a natural poem that has never been written by a pen but painted by time and change. Remembering that it used to be just a caterpillar that was never considered and then turned into a cocoon that lived in a narrow and dark space.

If you want to see this common sailor butterfly directly, then come to a place with lots of colorful flowers. Or you can come to a place with fresh wild grass like the one I found.
