Common palmfly butterfly

Among the lush green leaves that looked ordinary, my eyes saw something strange stuck to the leaf. At first glance it looked like a dry leaf, but my heart said it was not a dry leaf. Not wanting to drown in curiosity, I stepped closer to the place. When I got there, it turned out that my guess was right that it was not a dry leaf, but a common palmfly butterfly that was resting.

The common palmfly butterfly is one of the luckiest butterflies that comes from the Nymphalidae family. Try to look closely, the color and pattern of this butterfly are not exactly the same as a dry leaf. Brown in color combined with characteristic gray lines, it looks like a dry leaf that has holes.

Other fine lines that are the same color are also very similar to the veins on dry leaves. Moreover, in the middle of its wings there is a white dot that looks like a dry leaf that has holes and looks transparent. A perfect camouflage strategy and he can rest peacefully without having to worry too much about predators.
