Common house gecko
Have you ever seen this unique and simple creature? I'm sure everyone has seen it often. It is a common house gecko, one of the unique creatures that likes to hang out on the walls of the house. In Latin it is known as hemidactylus frenatus, one type of reptile that comes from the gekkonidae family. Many people consider the common house gecko as a disturbing creature, because it likes to crawl on the walls and defecate everywhere. That's why many people don't like this creature.
Actually, the common house gecko is a good animal, it helps us guard the house without being asked and without asking for payment. It helps us in eradicating annoying insects that like to come to the house, namely mosquitoes. In addition, the common house gecko is also a unique animal as I said earlier. When it feels threatened, it will break off its tail to trick the enemy. But don't worry, the tail will grow back over time. And it is active at night.

We get lots of them in Queensland too and just let them be, I like the way they can walk on the walls and roof with there suction cup fingers and toes.
Their sucking fingers are truly magical, making it easy for geckos to go anywhere without fear of falling. Thank you for visiting.
There isn't wall geckos here in NZ, none that I have seen so far in over a year. Reminds me of them in Africa, I don't like seeing them in the room though.
Yes, they are very annoying when they are indoors, they like to excrete dirt as they please.
