Common Asian millipede
(Edited)
Today, nature presented me with another extraordinary surprise. On a piece of old wood that holds a million stories, I found two tiny creatures in a passionate embrace. It was as if the world belonged to them. The old wood, the drizzle, and my phone camera were silent witnesses to their love. Two hearts weaving a story without words.
The tiny creature was called the common Asian millipede, or Trigoniulus corallinus in Latin. The common Asian millipede is one of the easiest animals to find, they're everywhere. However, they spend most of their time in areas with rotting wood and leaf litter. These two places provide them with food sources. However, the ones I encountered weren't looking for food. Instead, they were sowing new life.
It's also important to know that the common Asian millipede is one of the most unique small animals. It has a multitude of legs. It has legs all the way from head to toe. No other animal has that many legs. Only owned by those who come from the Trigoniulidae family, a super unique family.

What a privilege to capture these two beautiful specimens that appear to be in the middle of mating. Bravo!
Have a great day! Hugs!
