Beautiful shots of butterfly and moths sunbathing

Almost every night here where I live, it rains heavily. The mornings are very cold, especially lately, with a gentle breeze making them even colder. But that doesn't stop me from exploring the wilderness, hunting for beautiful creatures.
This cold weather doesn't just make humans lazy; birds and insects are also reluctant to move. Usually, when the sun starts to shine, many birds are chirping, but today it's very quiet. Perhaps they're still sleeping. It's a bit scary, though, because the atmosphere is so different.
I kept walking, looking around, hoping to find something to capture. I kept observing, and finally, I found a tiny butterfly sunbathing. Its wings were perfectly spread out. I often find these butterflies, but I rarely find one in this pose. Most of them, when they perch, have their wings tightly closed. It seems they only spread their wings to replenish their body temperature.

Not far from where the tiny butterfly was, I found another butterfly also sunbathing. This butterfly was medium-sized and equally beautiful in color. Its brownish orange blended beautifully with the jet black. This butterfly was a little different; it didn't want me to approach it too closely. When I tried to get closer, it immediately moved away. I snapped this photo from a distance.

And now let's take a look at a moth also sunbathing. The way it perches on a leaf is quite interesting. Look at how tightly it clings to the leaf's surface, perhaps afraid of being blown away by the wind. But with its position like that, I'm sure it will be saved from predators. It resembles a dry leaf clinging to a green surface, especially since it just stands there like a statue.

Hi!
I was amazed by that first butterfly you showed us. I'd never seen that particular one before, and I find it beautiful!
Thank you, the butterfly in the first picture is very easy to find here in the area, but to see it open its wings is very difficult.
