Autumn leaf butterfly | Doleschallia bisaltide

Hello everyone, good afternoon wherever you are, how are you this afternoon? Hope you are fine wherever you are.

I"m back here again and on this occasion I want to show you some beautiful shots of autumn leaf butterfly. In Latin, this butterfly is known as Doleschallia bisaltide which comes from the Nymphalinae family. This butterfly is one of the butterflies that is easy to find, but photographing it is very difficult.

The color of this butterfly corresponds to its name "autumn leaf", it really resembles dry leaves. This color is one of the strongest camouflage colors in the butterfly world. A color that is very easy to hide if a predator is monitoring it. Especially when this butterfly is in an environment with lots of fallen leaves. The camouflage must have been perfect. The way this butterfly camouflages is by closing its wings tightly.

This butterfly is a little different from other butterflies in general. This butterfly spends more time quietly among the fallen leaves and tree branches that resemble its color. These butterflies rarely fly, they only fly when approaching flowers to look for nectar and when they move, the rest of the time they stay silent. And these butterflies are more active in the morning when the sun starts to shine, as I found here. The butterfly is enjoying a delicious meal in the morning.

Pues si que parece una hoja 🍁, si me pusieran a buscarla entre algunas hojas de otoño a su alrededor me costaría muchísimo determinarla
