Greetings again my dear friends of this prestigious platform, we know that all of us as human species are in one way or another related to any living species present in our precious environment, and thus, we are all necessary for the longed balance of our ecosystem, which is why our interest is growing in terms of knowing, and thus, protect each of these living species.

For nobody is a secret that our main tool for this purpose has been science with all its areas in action, and as a fundamental alidade is the fertile area of technologies, between the two constitute in my opinion the most essential link that has allowed the exponential development in every sense that we have experienced as living beings of this complex but wonderful universe, which is why we consider technological applications as applied science.

Undoubtedly, each one of us can witness the use of any technological application since they are present in any space-time where we are, we could say that until now, the area of technologies is an intrinsic part of our great development and especially in the aspect of modernity in which we live nowadays.

In relation to the above, we can say that technological applications reach any space of our planet and the marine world does not escape this influence, therefore, we will relate to some of its applications in order to protect marine species, in this opportunity to the seal, remember that these marine beings are mammals and belonging to the wonderful family of marine pinnipeds, and this of course, allows us to express that the seals are adatadas or naturally prepared to spend most of their longevity in the water.

As we continue to know some characteristics of seals, we can say that their hind limbs are not very effective on the surface, however, when submerged in the water, they are very useful, since with them they achieve enormous agility and speed, Another important aspect to highlight of these mammals is that their life expectancy depends on the type of gender, therefore, when we talk about males, they can live around 25 to 30 years, however, female seals could live around 40 years, however, this type of species is in danger of extinction.

In relation to their danger of extinction, the causes may be due to their natural environment as well as those generated by us humans, in terms of a natural fact we find global warming and this in turn generated by the action of man, another reason is the poaching of small seal pups in order to obtain their skins, this is a hard action as it seriously endangers the extinction of these beautiful marine species.

Naturally it is known that their natural predators are whales and white sharks, however, there are some of these species that, due to their habitat in cold regions, avoid having natural predators such as those mentioned above, but, undoubtedly, the biggest predators of these mammals are humans, since in addition to destroying their habitat, an action that limits their feeding, they also hunt them as mentioned above to obtain both their skin and blubber.

On the other hand, we can also say that human action has also contributed in recent years to slow the spread of some marine species including seals, for example, thanks to technological advances such as GPS has allowed monitoring these animals, and another technological application is related to the installation of certain high-definition video cameras in the caves of small seal pups and thus maintain a safeguard and control of the births of these marine species.

It will always be important to know about these beautiful marine species especially when they are in danger of extinction, and above all, when the main threat is ourselves with our improper actions, the important thing is to reflect and understand that everything around us is essentially necessary for the proper balance of our precious natural environment and of which we are part and we need to be in total balance, and for this to happen we must protect any living species that is next to us.

Until another opportunity my dear and esteemed friends, I hope to be able to count on your important contributions in order to expand and consolidate the subject raised in this opportunity.
