Hello friends and members of the community. A few months ago I had the opportunity to attend as a guest at the National Landslide Workshop held by specialists from the Geological Survey of Cuba at the Hotel Comodoro.

The scientific event was of great importance as it summarized the main results of the research carried out in this field, as a way to mitigate the dangers and risks associated with landslide phenomena.

Besides this, it was very pleasant to be able to share with my friends and colleagues from the Institute of Geology and Paleontology and enjoy the pleasant atmosphere of the hotel facility, which made it a very enriching experience from a personal and professional point of view.

Hola amigos y miembros de la comunidad. Hace algunos meses tuve la oportunidad de asistir en condición de invitado al Taller Nacional de Deslizamiento del Terreno celebrado, impartido por especialistas del Servicio Geológico de Cuba en el Hotel Comodoro.

El evento científico fue de gran importancia al tratar de forma resumida los principales resultados de las investigaciones realizadas en este ámbito, como vía para la mitigación de los peligros y riesgos asociados a los fenómenos de deslizamientos de laderas.

Además de esto, fue muy grato poder compartir con mis amigos y colegas del Instituto de Geología y Paleontología y disfrutar del agradable ambiente de la instalación hotelera, lo cual hizo que fuera una experiencia muy enriquecedora desde el punto de vista personal y profesional.
