Saludos amigos. En el día de ayer tuve la oportunidad de participar como miembro de la geociencia en el Taller Nacional de Cartografía Geológica de Cuba que se celebró en el Centro de Convenciones "Guaicanamar".

En uno de los salones del centro se realizó la presentación de algunos trabajados de mapas geológicos efectuados como parte de la ejecución de un proyecto de cartografía geológica nacional. Este proyecto es de gran importancia ya que permite representar la geología de las distintas regiones de país para el aprovechamiento en la búsqueda de yacimientos minerales, petróleo, agua subterránea mineromedicinal, materiales de construcción, entre otros aspectos, como vía para el conocimiento natural y el crecimiento económico del país.

Fue una jornada muy enriquecedora que culminó con un almuerzo de confraternización en el restaurante del centro, en donde además de degustar una rica comida al estilo cubano, pudimos compartir una grata experiencia entre científicos de la geociencia cubana.

Greetings friends. Yesterday I had the opportunity to participate as a member of geoscience in the National Workshop of Geological Cartography of Cuba that was held at the Convention Center "Guaicanamar".

In one of the halls of the center there was a presentation of some geological mapping work carried out as part of the implementation of a national geological mapping project. This project is of great importance since it allows to represent the geology of the different regions of the country to be used in the search for mineral deposits, oil, subway mineral-medicinal water, construction materials, among other aspects, as a way for the natural knowledge and economic growth of the country.

It was a very enriching day that ended with a fraternization lunch at the center's restaurant, where in addition to enjoying a delicious Cuban-style meal, we were able to share a pleasant experience among Cuban geoscientists.
