Daily Haiku - Blockchain Freedom

I couldn't write Haiku around the subject of technology without trying to write one about Blockchain tech.

In this Haiku I've attempted to get to the core of my perception of blockchain. Obviously it is a little difficult to explain in a poem with a strict limit of 19 syllables 😉 So what I've done is try to write something that makes sense and might excite the interest of someone who had never heard of blockchain.

I personally think that the key to tackling mainstream adoption is to try and push the distinction between cryptocurrency and the technology behind it. If many more non-crypto folks understood what a decentralized ledger was rather than simply knowing that Bitcoin has wild swings in price, then we would see a much quicker drive to realize internet 3.0.

I have decided to challenge myself for the next month - until the 01st of July - to post a daily Haiku on Hive. Each week will have a different theme based on picture prompts from either Pixabay.com or Unsplash.com. This week's broad theme is technology.
