Today I want to share with you some of the landscapes and places I managed to visit in the Sintra area, my main goal was to visit Quinta Nova da Assunção, which was a former home of royalty, currently it is open to the public and people can go visit it without any and take pictures of its beautiful gardens and architectures. But on the way to that place I managed to visit and take pictures of other places.

Hoy quiero compartirles un poco de los paisajes y lugares que logre visitar en la zona de Sintra, mi objetivo principal era visitar Quinta Nova da Assunção, que era un antiguo hogar de la realeza, actualmente se encuentra abierto al público y las personas pueden ir a visitarlo sin ninguno y tomar fotos de sus hermosos jardines y arquitecturas. Pero en camino a ese lugar logré visitar y tomar fotos de otros lugares.

CENTER OF QUELUZ.📍

If you are near queluz I recommend you to make a stop in that place because we can visit some very nice and old places with interesting places, like the palace of queluz, it is a very visited place by tourists and residents, it has some cost depending on the area you want to visit because it is a very big place and they sell different kind of tours in the website. But the center of queluz is not only the royal palace the center of attraction, you can also visit different parks, also, I came across an old church that really is not a church nowadays, it was transformed into a hotel, so if you want to have this beautiful experience, you can visit the D Maria I inn. Next to it there is also a military base.

CENTRO DE QUELUZ.📍

Si estás cerca de queluz te recomiendo hacer una parada en ese lugar porque podemos visitar unos lugares muy lindos y antiguos con lugares interesantes, como el palacio de queluz, es un lugar muy visitado por turistas y residentes, tiene algún costo dependiendo de la zona que desees visitar porque es un lugar muy grande y venden diferentes tipos de visitas en la página web. Pero el centro de queluz no solo es el palacio real el centro de atracción, también puedes visitar diversos parques, también, me encontré con una antigua iglesia que realmente no es una iglesia en la actualidad, fue transformada en un hotel, así que si quieres tener esta hermosa experiencia, puedes visitar la posada de D Maria I. Al lado también se encuentra una base militar.

In case you don't manage to visit inside the palace, you can have a little view from the street of the palace gardens and the river. Nearby I found a park that connects to the river and you can find fish and the park has a sculpture of Jose Pedro Croft.

En caso de que no logres visitar dentro del palacio, puedes tener un poco de vista desde la calle de los jardines del palacio y el río. Cerca me encontré un parque que conecta al río y puedes encontrarte con peces y el parque tiene una escultura de Jose Pedro Croft.

Also nearby we can find the ancient aqueducts called aguas livres, in the city. Built by the ancient king Juan V to provide water to the town.

Quinta Nova da Assunção is located in Belas. This area has many historical areas that we can find, for example: Quinta do Señor da Serra, belonged to the Marquesas couple in the XIV century, currently used for events. In Belas you will find beautiful old houses and buildings with vibrant colors, giving color to the streets. I also visited the church da misericordia of Belas, which was inaugurated in 1583. Esa zona cuenta con muchas zonas históricas que nos podemos encontrar, por ejemplo: Quinta do Señor da Serra, pertenecía a la pareja Marquesas del siglo XIV, actualmente lo utilizan para eventos. En Belas te encontrarás hermosas antiguas casas y edificios con colores vibrantes, dándole color a las calles. También visité la iglesia da misericordia de Belas, que fue inaugurada en el año 1583. Donde se encuentra la campana fue construida en el siglo XVI.

Many old fountains with original designs. It has a picnic area and a fort. This place was opened for visitors since 2015 at no cost.

Se trata de una quinta que fue construida en 1860 João Maria da Silva Rego, que lo construyo en el medio de la ciudad con una hermosa arquitectura del siglo XIX, también en otras zonas logre ver pinturas y plantas exóticas, dándole un toque único al lugar, también contiene de decoración algunos azulejos con hermosas pinturas, los jardines llenos de plantas, un mirador de la ciudad fue una de mi zona favorita porque es hermosa la estructura y con una hermosa vista de vegetación y unas zonas de la ciudad. Muchas fuentes antiguas con diseños originales. Tiene una zona de pícnic y un fuerte. Este lugar fue abierto para visitantes desde el 2015 sin ningún costo.
