Some Digital Pet Peeve That Has No Solution For Now.

The same way there is a lifestyle and activities physical is the same we have it online. There are hundreds of groups, sects, lifestyle, niche and community online like we have it in the real world. If someone or something can annoy you physically then it is very possible that you get annoyed by someone or something online.

My first pet peeve is advertisement, not just any or every but the seemingly unimportant, unnecessary and unrelated ads that pop up on my social media feeds and on websites I visit. I know ads are to create awareness about certain things and sell but the way some of these ads come sometimes are so annoying. For example, I visit a particular site to download movies and the ads that always pop up is adult related contents. I want to download movie and all I'm seeing is "are you free tonight ?" "Do you want to touch ?" "Do you want to see more ? Wanna chat with the sexier girls". In my head I always answer with "No, thank you" 😂😂. This things have a way of accumulating in your mind and over time your mind paints a picture of it and you find yourself considering such. There are over a thousand things that can pollute the mind on the internet.

Another type of pet peeve is still ads but it is more of videos about how to make money. Why not try a different approach, start with a different line and sentence. It is annoying to always hear "Do you want to make more money, "Do you know you can earn thousands every week/month, Make your smartphone your ATM, Do you want to smile to the bank every day"..... y'all should do better. You can't sell the way others are selling, let everything about you be unique, else you are likely to get same results as others. I recently saw a video that started with "make more money online from" I didn't wait for the sentence to finish before swiping up. Another pet peeve is searching or reading on a website and you click on something then you find yourself in a new site. Sometimes this new sites will open in a new tab, super annoying!.

Notifications is another pet peeve I am dealing with at the moment. Telegram is that app that never runs out of notifications, I get more than three thousand nots from it in a day. Though I have muted many channels and left countless but I still receive too many nots. When I am too tired of it, I go to my phone settings to restrict Telegram from bringing any notifications. Many of us are into airdrop and only nots can inform us, so I prefer to put off the nots and check for info when I am free.

The last didgital pet peeve I want to talk about is centralisation of social media. Anyone from anywhere can butt in and leave comments in your post, random individuals can say whatever they feel is right and confidently put it to the face of whoever sees it. The liberty of social media is been abused, freedom of speech is unwisely used as people begin to share contents that are false, moral degrading, attack other users, etc.

Thank you for reading through this post. See you in the next

I never knew the word "pet peeve" exists until I saw this Digital Lifestyle prompt and read two blogs from other authors. You can check out this community that's all about everything didgital.

Hahaha 😀 all of these are pet peeves I have encountered too. Imagine wanting to download movies online and different porn sites starts showing up through ads, you have to keep swiping till your movie gets downloaded. So annoying.
That of telegram too, I had to keep muting every channel to stop me from getting unnecessary and constant notifications. But we cannot do away with them as we would always come across them.

Do you want to touch?🤣🤣🤣
Sometimes I just stop whatever I was doing because of ads. I remember how a YouTube video had a whole music video as an ad, are you serious at all.

Do you want to touch?🤣🤣🤣

No, thank you😂😂. YouTube ads can be annoying, it comes when you're already into what you're watching.

Thanks you for engaging Abenad
