This sounds great and relatively easy to prepare. I've never seen this mushroom in the wild, only one of its all-white cousins (Amanita thiersii). I would very much like to try it, just have to find a reliable source.

As a general rule, it treat all Amanitas I find locally except for A. muscaria as deadly. It's far better to be safe that dead or very very sick.
There are lots of online sources for dried products, you just need to find one that you're comfortable with buying from.
