Influence on Young people
In our world Today’s young people are subject to several factors that is one way or the other, influence occurs in the way we think, behaving and even our vision about life. These effects could be positive or negative and it is important to know how to manage them.
We tend to accept the fact that Instagram, Face book or twitter has great influence to the youth. They are always relaying on curated feeds from friends, peer pressure, and even in the course of cyberspace. In particular, social networking can have impact on the level of self-esteem, mental state, as well as on the opportunities of interpersonal communication.
Technology is another very important factor that affects the results of plans since new technologies develop continually. Although it may give the information and connectivity it can also result in addictions, loneliness and short span attention.
One can also note that peers’ influence is among the most important factors that influence youths’ beliefs and actions. People we interacts with on daily basis including friends, classmates and other social contacts can determine what a person does, feels and think.
Cultural laws relating to child upbringing, worth and relations with family members influence the youths. There are benefits of having families that support children that need to go to school and also there are disadvantages of having a disfunctional family.
Young people learn in school, college, university, at home, and in the community and at the workplace among other places; education molds young people into responsible citizens with an understanding of right and wrong and the direction in which they want their lives to take. Education and the related material reflect what may be expected in the future.
Media tends to influence youth’s vision of the world, their ethics and emotions. Media can create or transmit positive messages or negative messages depending on the view they take.
Cultural and societal norms, expectations, and values, shape young people’s beliefs, and behaviors. Variety is very important in the coexistence society where people of different cultures interact with each other.
For the young people the economic stability of the given state, availability of resources, and future career prospects play a big role in their lives. These are because; Financial stress will impact other aspects of life including mental state, relationship, and future plans.
First of all, one needs to create healthy family, friends and community relations.
In this way, students learn about these factors and prepare to address them to be able to succeed in modern society
