Transiting from only huge manpower to super advanced high tech.

From a time when one society resisted that manpower were replaced by the industrial revolution as its main natural resource to evolve. From a time in which the sheer abundance of ingenuity and will of the numerous members of that "primitive" society was the only resource available to advance and progress in life and overcome the challenges and limitations in competition with the world at large.

«-PROLOGUE-»

I remember that not long ago. Perhaps thirty or maximum forty years ago. I remember that it was very common and frequent to see photos on tech magazines like PC Magazine, Byte, Macworld, Macuser, etc. Just to name the most popular and well-known ones. Where you could see pictures of a big number of young Chinese engineers attending at large technology fairs and exhibitions such as COMDEX, CES, MWC, CeBIT and others.

Where you could find this large number of young Chinese engineers with paper notebooks and pencils at hand, all of them taking notes and drawing all kinds of descriptive diagrams with the details of each one of the technological products they were observing and they were highly interested in inspecting & dissect. Only paper notebooks and pencils folks. No use of photo cameras, videocams, smartphones or anything like that to record their ambitious log throughout the entire exhibition.

Just like at that time too. I also remember having seen several TV reports, movies and documentaries of these big international technological fairs and exhibitions where you could witness this peculiar and curious behavior of these young Chinese engineers with pencil and paper in hand drawing and taking notes of everything.

It's a shame that today I couldn't find any of this material online as a testimony to what I'm talking about. But surely one day, if I will arm myself with enough time, courage and patience. Maybe I can find some of these photos among my old magazines or in one or another of my old VHS video recordings or even in video clips that I may have stored on some of my IDE hard drives from thirty years ago.

But hey, let's go where I wanna go. What I really wanted to point out and highlight in this post today. It is the fact of the dizzying and incredible technological progress that this industrious society has achieved in just a few decades. Since many might think that China and the Chinese began to industrialize their society from several centuries ago. But what if I tell you and show you that this formidable progress, evolution and prosperity has taken them no more than 50 years? ¿Could you believe it?

«-A Manpower Only Society-»

¡But Ready To Change!

Yeah, of course. It is more than evident that all this economic progress, evolution and prosperity did not happen without an immense dose of great sacrifices and almost insurmountable obstacles and problems. But what is really surprising and unique in the world is that it has happened in such a short time.

Especially after the insatiable greedy plans of Western globalization were imposed across the world. Offshoring & outsourcing their original manufacturing and production of goods outside their countries and locating them especially in China.

So now I ask you: What do you think this large society of individuals had, has had and has? To achieve what they have achieved and that apparently no one else in the world nowadays has as to be able to imitate them? ¿Only their inimitable mastery of reverse engineering?

Yeah, perhaps it is not surprising that today the Western world keeps a close eye on them and is extremely attentive to all their movements, achievements, feats and everything they do in China so that they are now the ones who will try to copy and imitate them. At least it is already more than noticeable how they are trying to copy them in their model of surveillance and social control. ¿Isn't it?

But do you really believe that it is precisely in this strategy alone what their huge industrial, commercial, technological, political and social success is based on? Ah, ¡Come on pals!

It is more than obvious that there would be many more things to tell about China. And maybe you wish I had also pointed them out in this post. But as you can see, I have only focused on a very small fraction of what I consider most relevant to mention here to start an interesting conversation and debate.

But if you really insist on discussing those other things about China that I haven't reviewed in this post. Then maybe I should suggest that you be more curious and at least review a little more of their recent history and some other facts so that we can start a coherent discussion and productive debate. Otherwise, just limit yourself to commenting on the facts presented here such as they are. Since as you already must know, I like to talk and debate with well-informed people only.
