Are you needing to transfer large files easily between different devices and OSs?

«-Then look no further-»

¡And READ this post carefully!

"Flying Carpet"

Yeah don't worry. This is just a bit of initial odd, outlandish and twisted sense of humor for what will be a pretty serious post about something you might want to learn. ¡So pay close attention, please!

Do you really want or need a neaty opensource freeware little app that allows you to wirelessly transfer big files cross-platforms between your different devices? Between Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, iOS with no need of network infrastructure like access points, switches, routers, bluetooth or wi-fi?

¿Yes? ok, then check this out:

"Windows GUI"

"Apple Mac GUI"

"Linux GUI"

"Android GUI"

"iOS GUI"

"A short A/V tutorial"

Oh yeah, and your PCs, desktops & laptops, only need to have a wireless chip (WiFi adapter) to establish a wireless connection while they are located nearby physically close to each other. Because Flying Carpet temporarily disconnects you from any wireless network you're currently on and uses the WiFi card's radio transmitter to connect directly to other devices broadcasting Flying Carpet's signal. Neaty right?

And if that isn't off-the-grid enough for you, the transfer process itself is encrypted as well. When you initiate a transfer, the receiving device generates a random password that must be entered into the sending device in order to execute and decrypt the transfer. Be aware you may need to open port 3290 on your receiving device's firewall settings to make sure the transfer is successful.

The thing is that for some time now I was needing to find an application like this. And if it was free, even better. And I just stumbled upon this one that works quite well. So, I thought it would be worth sharing it with all of you today. Even though I haven't tried it on all operating systems yet. Because now it will be your turn to test it on your own OS.

In conclusion: transfer your files between devices without Wires, Pen Drives, WiFi, Bluetooth or Internet. And don't forget to let us know how it went. And if you find this post of any value and use to you or others, well you know what to do. Share it, reblog it and reward it as you think it deserves. Enjoy it and see you later folks!

It seems like a good option my friend, although I transfer everything using FILEZILLA and converting my phone or PC where I want to get or send things from into an ftp server, so that way I can easily send everything I want..

There are several options with different programs, I really opt for filezilla because it is open source.

Oh and by the way my friend, I don't know if you've been warned, but I want to tell you that you appear in the hive movie, they made a spectacular full screen close up of you saying your epic phrase "We got a problem!".

Congratulations on that (I am one of the few privileged people who has been able to see the trailer of the movie before it is public, but for obvious reasons I cannot show it).

Oh yeah, options similar as the one you describe that you are using with filezilla there have been hundreds of them available for decades. But they all require of some sort of wires or "network infrastructure" as I describe in my article. Which is not needed at all for the use of Flying Carpet for the purpose of transferring big files between different devices and between different operating systems. For what I invite you to reread again with greater attention and detail about the unique benefits of this little freeware app and you will notice that at the moment there is no other program with these same capabilities anywhere. :)

Hahahaha, that's funny. And no, no one had informed me or warned me that this had happened. And I say that I find this funny, because in fact, I had been told that my audiovisual contribution would not be selected for the final feature film since it had not complied with the audiovisual format required to be able to appear in the film.

But after having seen all the other A/V contributions that others had made at the moment of uploading mine, I was almost sure that in the end they would not be able to resist to include what I had expressed with so much energy, eloquence, passion and enthusiasm, regardless of the fact that I had not complied with the audiovisual format that they demanded to create my videoclip in order to be included in the final production.

Congratulations on that (I am one of the few privileged people who has been able to see the trailer of the movie before it is public, but for obvious reasons I cannot show it).

Thanks for your congratulations. :)

But now you can't and won't escape from showing me the trailer in which you say you saw me. There is no way that you can come out of this commitment unscathed. Now you will have to tell me where to see it or where I can find it. Because right now you piqued my curiosity and I have to see that spectacular full screen close up of me saying my epic phrase "We got a problem!" when it was supposed that no one would be able to see it. Especially in a spectacular close up on a giant screen. LoL

Thank you for your comment and heads up brother. As you know, you are always more than welcome to my blog and posts to make my day with your feedback.
