Too many days of tranquility are tiring, right?

Of course I can't miss anything so, even today, I hit the unexpected box!

Just to please The PC stopped working last night at around 7pm and exactly since yesterday I've been trying to restart it somehow... obviously with no luck and only allowing myself a few hours of sleep this morning (I went to bed around 9 and 12 I was already on my feet to resume my "single combat" duel with the computer).

I tried starting it with external hard drives and nothing, it doesn't seem to work; I can not in any way to update or install a new version of Windows; I'd actually say that at the moment I can't do anything at all.

The thing that comforts me is that, at least, he had already saved all the data from the various media on my computer in an external memory so I shouldn't lose anything.

I say shouldn't because with the "ass" of these last few times lightning could strike the external hard drive and melt it down, lol!

Of course it must be said that, if you wish, even in this situation you can find the positive side; since the computer has decided not to go, to fix it, I've worked hard and learned many things... but now I hope that some of these things will be useful for me to restart it.

I'm writing this post while I'm waiting for the procedures to go ahead so, if fate assists us, you'll be able to see the results live!

For the record, the solution I'm currently trying to adopt (at 4.15 pm on this sunny Saturday) is to install windows 11 Pro (for which I bought a license) on an external hard disk, make this external medium the main one , after having access to the PC again, arrange and put the data on the backup medium in order in order to feel calm.

The memory I'm using now is 500 gigs and, as you can see from the image, it seems to work even if it doesn't read the other storage media on my PC.

Still the PC gives me errors but in the meantime the second monitor has restarted, which is not too bad!

I probably have to give the command from the BIOS to start the PC from this hard disk (which I already did as I write), let's see what happens...

The thing that catches the eye is that the slowness is the master, moreover, every time I restart the system, it performs various updates. ..

Well, maybe somehow you see the light; I started writing this post at 3pm and it's now past 6pm and I've finally managed to get to the bottom of the mess even if, by the way, I still have a lot of work to do.

Naturally the solution was different from the one I wrote at the start... but you know it always ends up like this.

The PC restarted, I formatted a section and reinstalled windows; now that I can work I'm making a further backup for safety and then format the whole PC and I'll start it from scratch.

If you're wondering why it's simple, as well as being crazy, I realized that performance has already improved a lot therefore, restoring to zero and installing all the various drivers, it will go back to being a splinter as I had conceived it.

I didn't tell you that I built my PC myself; I decided to bring it to maximum performance because I want to use it exclusively for work and I hope that, in the long run, this choice will lead to an improvement in the already good results achieved.

Of course, among the various modified choices there is also that of Windows which is no longer 11 but the latest version of 10 (Pro of course), I also bought a license for this version.

I opted for this solution because I don't like version 11 very much; in any case, I had the idea of ​​installing the dual operating system later, therefore I will still use the purchased license.

Well now I'll leave you because otherwise I'll never finish eh eh!

Troppi giorni di tranquillità stancano, vero?

Naturalmente io non posso farmi mancare nulla quindi, anche oggi, ho beccato la casella imprevisti!

Tanto per gradire Il PC ieri sera alle 19 circa ha smesso di funzionare ed esattamente da ieri sto provando a farlo ripartire in qualche modo... ovviamente senza fortune e concedendomi solo qualche ora di sonno stamattina (mi sono coricato verso le 9 e alle 12 ero già in piedi per riprendere il mio duello "a singolar tenzone" con il computer).

Ho provato avviandolo con degli hard disk esterni e niente, non sembra andare; non riesco in nessun modo ad aggiornare o installare una nuova versione di Windows; in realtà direi che al momento non riesco a fare proprio nulla.

La cosa che mi consola è che, quantomeno, aveva già provveduto a salvare tutti i dati dei vari supporti presenti sul mio computer in una memoria esterna quindi non dovrei perdere nulla.

Dico non dovrei perché con il "culo" di questi ultimi periodi un fulmine potrebbe colpire l'hard disk esterno e fonderlo, lol!

Certo c'è da dire che, volendo, anche in questa situazione si può trovare il lato positivo; da quando il computer ha deciso di non andare, per sistemarlo, mi sono ingegnato ed ho imparato tantissime cose... ora però spero che qualcuna di queste cose mi sia utile per farlo riavviare.

Scrivo questo post mentre attendo che le procedure vadano avanti quindi, se il fato ci assiste, potrai vedere in diretta i risultati ottenuti!

Per la cronaca, la soluzione che sto provando attualmente (ore 16.15 di questo sabato di sole) ad adottare è quella di installare su un Hard Disk esterno windows 11 Pro (del quale ho comprato una licenza), far diventare questo supporto esterno quello principale è, dopo aver di nuovo accesso al pc sistemare e mettere ordine nei dati del supporto di backup in modo da stare tranquillo.

La memoria che sto usando ora è di 500 giga e, come puoi vedere dall'immagine, sembra funzionare anche se non mi legge gli altri supporti di archiviazione presenti sul PC.

Ancora il PC mi da degli errori ma comunque, nel frattempo si è riavviato il secondo monitor, il che non è malissimo!

Probabilmente devo dare il comando dal BIOS di avviare il PC da questo hard disk (cosa già fatta mentre scrivo), vediamo cosa succede...

La cosa che salta all'occhio è che la lentezza la fa da padrona, oltretutto ad ogni riavvio io sistema esegue vari aggiornamenti. ..

Bene, forse in qualche maniera si vede la luce; ho iniziato a scrivere questo post alle 15 e ora sono le 18 passate e finalmente sono riuscito a raggiungere il bandolo della matassa anche se, così a occhio, ho ancora un bel pó di lavoro da fare.

Naturalmente la soluzione è stata diversa da quella che ho scritto in partenza... ma si sa va sempre a finire così.

Il PC è ripartito, ho formattato una sezione e reinstallato windows; ora che posso lavorare sto effettuando un ulteriore backup per sicurezza dopodiché formattare tutto il PC e lo farò ripartire da zero.

Se Ti stai chiedendo perché è semplice, oltre ad essere folle, mi sono reso conto che già così le prestazioni sono migliorate di molto pertanto, riportando a zero e installato tutti i vari driver, tornerà ad essere una scheggia per come lo avevo concepito.

Non Ti ho detto che il mio PC l'ho assemblato io da me; ho deciso di portarlo al massimo delle performance perché voglio utilizzarlo solo ed esclusivamente per il lavoro e spero che, alla lunga, questa scelta porti a un miglioramento dei già buoni risultati raggiunti.

Naturalmente tra le varie scelte modificate c'è anche quella di Windows che non è più 11 ma l'ultima versione di 10 (Pro ovviamente), ho acquistato una licenza anche per questa versione.

Ho optato per questa soluzione perché la versione 11 non mi piace molto; in ogni caso mi è venuta l'ideuzza di installare il doppio sistema operativo più avanti pertanto sfrutterò comunque la licenza acquistata.
