There are different types of natural disaster we have flood, earthquakes,eruption, storms,fire etc.

In Nigeria the type of natural disaster we are facing is flood and it happens during rainy season. Rain has been falling massively for the past two days now and I have seen different video's and picture of people's car getting drown in the water. I was told that in some area's, it's so bad that the water entered there house and it destroyed there properties and they couldn't sleep in there apartment due to that. It feels painful.This particular incident happens every year during rainy season and it is inevitable.

I have witnessed flood one's when I was still living in my hometown and I will say it's not a good thing at all. It happened that rain fell for three days and the street was full of water and we had to walk inside the water when going out. I was scared of putting my leg but I had no choice because I have to go out.So,I dipped my leg inside, the water was reaching my knee and I almost got stucked inside.
It is not a good experience at all. I always feel bad for people living in area's where there is always flood.They will always pray for rain not to fall but it is not possible...

We also experience erosion too but it not has bad has flood. Erosion is the process where natural forces like wind and water wears away and transport materials from one location to another.
Wind Erosion;When the wind is too much it damages the roof and sometime it will remove or fly off. The wind can has well carry sand into someone eye while passing by. There was a time my mum was driving, the wind was too much to the extent that it carried some objects. So, she had to park and wait for some minutes.

survival tips, the best thing to do in this kind of situation is to protect yourself first,move out your luggage and valuable items so they wont be destroyed with water. In case of erosion be patient and use a face mask if necessary.
