Down Dog! a freewrite

"Down dog! Down!"

The thing was coming at me. It was pounding out scratchy music and flashing blinding lights. It was huge. I was backed into a corner. I couldn’t breathe.

Breathing matters. A lot. The dog was mechanical – it didn’t breathe. So I used my strength, my breath, my fact of existence, my source of personal power, and I huffed and I puffed and I blew the fully present me into its blinking face. Then, the magic started happening.

I flew! That’s right! I flew right over that creature’s head, and I let myself soar into the attic, where I found the secret code to all things. I used the code to break the creature’s batteries, and it stopped dead in its tracks with its mouth flopped open. Its lights remained dimly lit for a moment before they sputtered out.

This shows that if we just show up, fully present as ourselves, we can conquer the ravages of excessive technology in our lives. We must learn to use technology, not to be backed into all these corners were are now in, having to turn this way and that before we can take a step forward.

I agree with you that we should learn how to manage and how to use the technology because no doubt technology is the future and if we master it then the future is ours

Technology is only a small part of our future, or should be. I wanna our children to go back to climbing trees and riding bikes, better ways to learn science, math and socialization. All this tech has made our children science, math, and socially dumb. Far less likely to show up as their full selves.

I think we've gone way past excessive when we can no longer believe the evidence of our eyes and ears.
Isn't technology supposed to make our lives easier?

Technology could make our lives easier, and perhaps enrich it, but the way we are using it has resulted in it being tools for our enslavement. We can now be watched, traced, and brainwashed very easily. As you may have heard me say, our phones are our enemy's weapons. Lay them down.
