I think you really nailed it in the head with the "Death of the Movie Star". For me, I stopped going to the movies and watching the latest films after Avengers Endgame, and when the pandemic happened. The youth aren't watching as much movies as well, one because it costs a lot compared to just streaming, and two because they like YT, Twitch, and Tiktok more. A lot of streamers and media influencers are millionaires because of their supporters. Their supporters would rather watch them, than a movie where they don't know the actors.
