Hello friends science addicts! Today I bring you one with some very interesting photos that I hope will serve to motivate you to investigate a little more about one of the most spectacular sciences of all! I personally became addicted to the observation of celestial bodies, and it is impossible to get bored when we observe things with our telescope since we always discover some new object! in this month of may there are a couple of interesting things an eclipse that could be seen in the southern hemisphere and of course the "eta aquaridas" which is a meteor shower!๐ŸŒŒ๐ŸŒ๐ŸŒ•

Obviously what we observe in the sky depends on factors such as: "the power of our telescope, our experience and the area of observation" all this can limit our field of vision so we would not observe anything and at this point science becomes "boring "! so we can take as an example that famous "dictation" "do not judge a book by its cover" making astronomical observation is more complex than we think but when we master the techniques it is a very fun activity! defining astronomy is easy let's say it is a science that studies the "behavior" of the stars, from its beginnings to the laws that govern them!๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿซ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐ŸŽ“

There are theories that express "that the universe is infinite" others that it is "finite" finite or infinite is too big and produces in us that feeling of "curiosity"! many of us think that our universe is so big that we could achieve very interesting things, some others difficult to explain! and then those who think that there is some form of intelligent life beyond! all these curiosities push us to want to study this beautiful science and want to discover stars and planets! and who removes if we are lucky a comet that would bear our name!๐ŸŒ•๐Ÿช๐Ÿšฉ

Our first event in May was a lunar eclipse luckily I couldn't see it here in my area because the weather didn't allow it! the next day I saw this beautiful full moon that I wanted to photograph to show them to you! And since we are writing about astronomy and astronomical phenomena, we will start with the lunar eclipse, which is when our earth "interposes" between the sun and the moon, making a dark figure on the natural satellite!
๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐ŸŽ“๐Ÿ”ญ

img_7218.jpg

Despite not being an astronomical event, I was able to photograph the constellation of the raven, and I had an outstanding debt with me because last year I couldn't, it seemed to me that this month is the best to study it! and according to the bibliographical references the raven can be fully visible in "may" so it was my chance! It is not a modern constellation, it had already been described by Ptolemy, and it is not easy to find it in the sky either because its magnitudes are a bit high, between 6-5! These numbers are too large to be seen with the "naked" eye.๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿคฏ

These photos are some "messier" that are close to the constellation of the raven and the constellation of virgo, there are more than 20 astronomical bodies here among them clusters of stars and galaxies, and that is why I love astronomy for an inexperienced eye they are points bright but when we learn and read a little more we manage to distinguish the "bright spots".๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

There is another important phenomenon that is seen in the month of May and it is the famous "eta aquaridas" meteor shower that can be seen without using a telescope but you must be in an area without light pollution! Do you remember the famous Halley's Comet? who will visit us in 2061? well this meteor shower is the product of its "walk" around the solar orbit! This shower of comets last more than 70 years! these particles when they hit our atmosphere create these movements!๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿ‘€

Something tells me that astronomy is one of the oldest sciences in our history because civilizations such as "Aztecs, Greeks, Chinese" used their studies of the sky to discover things and attribute names! and since then science has evolved to such an extent that it is capable of detecting objects in the universe millions of light years away!๐Ÿ”ญ๐Ÿ”ญ

I really enjoy all these pictures. At some point, I may just cross the line and buy a small telescope. I am sure my son will love it! :)

5 years this has been happening to me, it started here, around people that are still here. Homeland security has done nothing at all, they are not here to protect us. Dont we pay them to stop shit like this? The NSA, CIA, FBI, Police and our Government has done nothing. Just like they did with the Havana Syndrome, nothing. Patriot Act my ass. The American government is completely incompetent. The NSA should be taken over by the military and contained Immediately for investigation. I bet we can get to the sources of V2K and RNM then. https://peakd.com/gangstalking/@acousticpulses/electronic-terrorism-and-gaslighting--if-you-downvote-this-post-you-are-part-of-the-problem

How much does it cost to buy a telescope like that? I am into astrophotography but so far, I can only capture the moon and I wanna go beyond that.

Hello, this is "average" about 600 because it comes with the equatorial mount, but I recommend buying the subony camera adapter for better quality in your photos! In 1200 you buy a very decent one to see nearby galaxies!

Thank you for replying! it's good to know the estimates ๐Ÿ˜ƒ and 12000 is very reasonable given like you said, I could see nearby galaxies.
