Good night friends! If you are a lover of astronomy today I have a special that you will surely love, we are going to discuss some important topics about the moon in its phase: "Winning Gibbous Moon" actually we have previously explained a little about it, but what would happen if we used one of the secrets of astronomers to observe this beautiful natural satellite? Join me on this experience to learn a little about lunar filters.🔭🧠🌗
A little about the characteristics of the moon today🌗/Un poco sobre las caracteristica de la luna hoy🙇♂️🔭
First of all, before moving forward with the subject of lunar filters, I would like to explain a little about the characteristics of the moon today, 12/08/2022, make the observation at 20:07 at this point, the moon is at an altitude of 26.6 degrees. , the exact direction in the sky is: 76.7 degrees NE.🌗🔭
First I would like to clarify that for this photo I used the UV filter that helps a little to reduce the intensity of the brightness on the moon but it has a problem, details such as craters are not observed, it is normal in this lunar phase our satellite has a brightness of 99.6% is almost completely full and this makes telescopic observation quite difficult, the exact time when the moon disappears on the horizon is: 8:13 in the morning! At the time I take the pictures, it is at a distance of 401,924 km from the earth. The angle of the moon is: 0.5.🧠🔭📚

Use of filters and importance🌗/Uso de filtros e importancia🙇♂️🔭
I would like to say that it is the same edited photo but no! Actually there are several photos that I took of the moon but using two types of filters, one UV and the other lunar! both are dark but have a different contrast and brightness falloff! A filter is an accessory that can be placed in the microscope tube and that enhances our observation! There are different types depending on what we want to see! the moon filter is also called: "neutral density", what it basically does is reduce light and increase contrast! thanks to the filters we can reduce lighting up to 50% depending on the model!👨🏫🔭🧠
Here we see a good example of the power of a double polarized filter, they are one of the best on the market because they come with two independent lenses that can be individually adjusted to reduce lighting by 1%, there are much better models than mine but we can still see a big difference in photo quality, and I have to point out that ECENCY does lose a bit of quality in my photos!🕵️♂️🧠👨🏫

It is very evident that for astronomers filters help a lot when it comes to getting better results, today I was able to demonstrate that double polarized or variable filters are the best option when we want to observe small details in our unique and beautiful natural satellite! I hope you have learned something new today tell me what is your favorite filter?🔭📚

Edit work can actually bring out something new out of a picture. The moon looks already like a planet after edited
This is so nice and thanks for sharing.

You guys are really doing a good job. At times I wonder how people go into the space to study about it and comes up with a great results. I don't have any idea about astronomy but I love hearing information about the space.
