BIRD WATCHING SUNDAY🐦🦉 / DOMINGO PAJAREANDO📸
The weekend is here and today Sunday I am going to take a walk in Sesimbra with the aim of bird watching, I can say that it is my favorite hobby! Birdwatching is an activity for the whole family, it is always good to learn new things about feathers, the most interesting part is when we must identify them! When we do this for many years we end up identifying them without using bibliographic references, make yourself comfortable to teach you in this post how birdwatching is done😮😮
Llego el fin de semana y hoy domingo voy a dar un paseo en Sesimbra con el objetivo de realizar observacion de aves, puedo decir que es mi hobbie favoritos! observas aves es una actividad para toda la familia, siempre es bueno aprender cosas nuevas sobre los emplumados, la parte mas interesante es cuando debemos identificarlas! cuando hacemos esto por muchos años acabamos por identificarlas sin usar referencias bibliograficas, ponte comodo para enseñarte en este post como se realiza el birdwatching🤔🤩
INTERESTING SESIMBRA🚩🌏/ SESIMBRA INTERESANTE🐦🦉
Sesimbra is a region in the south of Portugal, it belongs to the district of Setubal and is interesting for its climatic and environmental conditions, its geography allows birds to visit the area in search of food, in this area some lagoons are formed that can lead to in the river! When the water accumulates, small water tanks are formed that are capable of harboring a lot of biodiversity such as (fish).😧😨
Sesimbra es una region de la zona sur de Portugal, pertenece al destrito de Setubal y es interesante por sus condiciones climaticas y ambientales, su gografia permite a las aves visitar la zona en busca de alimento, en esta area se forman algunas lagunas que pueden desembocar en el rio! cuando el agua se acumula se forman pequeños tanques de agua que son capaces de albergar mucha biodiversidad como por ejemplo (peces). 😍😍
We can get a variety of plants that adorn the landscape of the lake and that have a positive impact on the fauna of the lake since they attract several species of insects including Dipteros, Bees, dragonflies! and we know by common sense that insects attract small insectivorous birds, making the area rich in diversity of bird species! It is not the first time I visit the lagoon but from time to time I spend a weekend to see what kind of bird I photograph!😋😋
Podemos conseguir una variedad de plantas que adornan el paisaje del lago y que tienen un impacto positivo en la fauna del lago ya que atraen varias especies de insectos incluyendo Dipteros, Abejas, libelulas! y sabemos por sentido comun que los insectos atraen pequeñas aves insectivoras tornando la zona rica en diversidad de especies de aves! no es primera vez que visito la laguna pero de vez en cuando paso un fin de semana a ver que tipo de ave fotografio!🥰😅
WHAT WE SHOULD AND NOT DO🚩🌏/ REGLAS GENERALES🐦🦉
To do Birdwatching we must take into account several details that make the difference to photograph a bird, first it is very important not to make noise, the birds have a very developed sense of hearing and the minimum noise scares them away, I do not recommend taking pets for this activity especially dogs because when birds bark they run away! the clothes also help to not be detected so wearing clothes with opaque colors is recommended! for the rest, respect the rules of the facilities!🤩😮💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
Para hacer Birdwatching debemos tener en cuenta varios detalles que hacen la diferencia para fotografiar un ave, primero es muy importante no hacer ruido las aves tienen el sentido de la audicion muy desarrollado y el minimo ruido las auyenta, no recomiendo llevar mascotas para esta actividad especialmente perros porque cuando ladran las aves huyen! la ropa tambien ayuda a no ser detectado por eso usar ropas con colores opacos es recomendable! de resto respetar las reglas de las instalaciones!🚫⭕📛🛑
You should always be attentive to small details, if you have a macro photography lens, take it with you even though you are going to photograph birds in this type of environment we can find many interesting insects, and well I ran into this spider!😮😃🚩🌏
Siempre debes estar atento a los pequeños detalles, si tienes una lente para macrofotografia llevala contigo apesar que vas a fotografiar aves en este tipo de ambiente podemos encontrar muchos insectos interesantes, y bueno me tope con este aracnido!🕷🦂
Herons love to feed in the low areas, for example here in this lagoon there is a good opportunity to photograph some, what they do is walk in shallow areas in search of small fish, I managed to identify some species of Egretta garzetta the so-called heron common, it is very likely to get it in the entire region of Portugal!😎😎
A las garzas les encanta alimentarse en las zonas bajas, por ejemplo aqui en esta laguna hay una buena oportunidad para fotografiar algunas, lo que hacen es caminar en zonas poco profundas en busca de peces pequeños, logre identificar algunas especies de Egretta garzetta la llamada garza comun, es muy probable conseguirla en toda la region de Portugal!🌅✅
OBSERVATION POSTS🚩🌏/ PUESTO DE OBSERVACION🐦🦉
The observation posts are nothing more than the space where the bird watching is carried out, they are generally closed, they can be built with different materials but they all share the same characteristic! They are positioned in strategic places where there is a high pass of birds! For example, this one here is positioned by the lake, so it is common to see herons, limicolas and migratory birds!🚩🏠
Los puestos de observacion no son mas que el espacio donde se realiza la observacion de ave, generalmente son cerrados, pueden ser construidos con diferentes materiales pero todos comparten una misma caracteristica! son posicionados en sitios estrategicos por donde hay un elevado paso de aves! por ejemplo este de aqui esta posicionado al lago por lo que es comun ver garzas, aves limicolas y migratorias! 😮😮
As expected in the observation post, I managed to find several copies of common herons, some were simply resting and others were hunting! but I also managed to spot some flocks of ducks that were in deeper water and it seemed that they were resting and socializing!😍😍🤩😬😬😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😮😮😮😮😮
Tal y como se esperaba en el puesto de observacion logre conseguirme con varios ejemplares de garzas comunes, algunas estaban simplemente descansando y otras estaban cazando! pero ademas logre avistar algunas bandadas de patos que estaban en aguas mas profundas y que parecia que estaban descansando y socializando!😅😅
This bird with black coloration belongs to the family of the Phalacrocoracidae, and I attract to say that it is the species (Phalacrocorax carbo) since it is cosmopolitan it is in almost the whole world and in Portugal it is common! They are great swimmers and can stay underwater for a few minutes looking for fish!😃😃
esta ave con coloracion negra pertenece a la familia de las Phalacrocoracidae, y atravo a decir que es la especie (Phalacrocorax carbo) ya que es cosmopolita esta en casi todo el mundo y en Portugal es comun! son grandes nadadoras pueden permanecer algunos minutos debajo del agua buscando peces!🦆🦅🦢
To photograph birds in observation post, a tripod is recommended since the image can be moved by the speed of the birds, the other thing that if you need a mandatory character is a telephoto lens, I have 2 but I like to use the 300mm is enough to take a decent photo! and of course a guide to identify the birds, in this space I do not need as there are photos of the common birds in the area!😮😮🤩🤗🤗😮😮😮😮😮😮🤨🤨🤨🤨
Para fotografiar aves en puesto de observaciones se recomienda un tripode ya que la imagen puede salir movida por la velocidad que tienen las aves, lo otro que si necesitaras con caracter obligatorio es lente teleobjetiva, yo tengo 2 pero me gusta usar la de 300mm es suficiente para tomar una foto decente! y claro una guia para identificar las aves, en este espacio no necesito ya que hay fotos de las aves comunes en la zona!🚩🧭🌏
This activity needs all the patience you have at your disposal, birds do not have a routine or follow a course! everything is random so you just have to wait until you get some cool photos! Today there is a lot of wind the birds don't like it because it makes it difficult for them to fly!🙂🙂
Esta actividad necesita toda la paciencia que tengas a disposicion las aves no tienen una rutina ni siguen un curso! todo es aleatorio por tanto simplemente deberas esperar hasta obtener algunas fotos interesantes! hoy hay mucho viento a las aves no les gusta porque les dificulta el vuelo!🦆🦢⭕
Do you see these movements in the water? it's about small and big fish! That is why this lagoon is a feeding space for a great variety of birds!📛🤔📸
I like to visit this area because it is quiet and very lonely, you have time to make your plans, I already went to other observation posts and had to queue to enter! Not here, the 2 times I came I always had the space to myself! I do not like it is when people without scientific knowledge come and scare the birds with screams and noise!😎😎
Me gusta visitar esta zona porque es tranquila y muy sola, tienes tiempo para realizar tus planes, ya fui a otros puesto de observacion y tenia que hacer fila para entrar! aqui no, las 2 veces que vine siempre tenia el espacio para mi solo! no me gusta es cuando vienen personas sin conocimiento cientifico y espantan las aves con gritos y bulla!😒😒😒😒
I know that Portugal is not one of my favorite countries for birdwatching because it does not have a variety of bird species, and even so it is number one in Europe there are many areas where in the months of migration there are too many migratory birds from the Iberian Peninsula!😅😅😅😅😅😅
Se que Portugal no es uno de mis paises favoritos para realizar birdwatching porque no tiene variedad de especies de aves, y aun asi es el numero uno en europa hay muchas zonas donde en los meses de migracion pasan demasiadas aves migratorias de la peninsula iberica!😬
Well in this other observation post there is more variety of species I managed to identify some specimens of Fulica atra, also some herons whose scientific name is: Ardea cinerea is a beautiful bird the famous gray heron! I also photographed some crows that just flew over the area!😃🛑
Bien en este otro puesto de observacion hay mas variedad de especie logre identificar unos ejemplares de Fulica atra, tambien unas garzas cuyo nombre cientifico es: Ardea cinerea es una hermosa ave la famosa garza real! tambien fotografie algunos cuervos que solo sobrevolaron la zona!🦢🦆🦅🐦🦉

Here is a new species that I had not previously sighted, it is a resident of the area and it is a limicola bird that means it is on the seashore, lakes or swamps feeding on buried animals! I dare say that it is the species: Actitis hypoleucos😚😚
Aqui hay una especie nueva que no habia avistado anteriormente es residente de la zona y es un ave limicola quiere decir esta en la orilla del mar, lagos o pantanos alimentandose de animales enterrados! me atrevo a decir que es la especie: Actitis hypoleucos👨🏫👨🎓

Now what I did was change the telephoto lens for the macro lens. it is very good for photographing insects and flowers! my wife uses it a lot and has some macro studio certificates and I learn a lot from her!😏💖

Claro tenia sentido era un ave depredarora de rapiña o un ejemplar de Circus aeruginosus esta ave suele cazar otras aves mas pequeña, ademas de pescar algunos peces!😬🤯
