Hoy vamos a ver The Path Into The Abyss, ¡en un mundo postapocalíptico inspirado en Argentina!
Es un juego ambientado en Buenos Aires, donde veremos un mundo devastado por horrores cósmicos. El Abismo, junto con sus criaturas, destruye el mundo y mantiene a los humanos atrapados en una horrenda realidad.
Aquí tendremos que sobrevivir y averiguar qué pasó con nuestro padre, quien se fue en una expedición para descubrir qué fue lo que ocurrió con el mundo.
Este es un juego creado por desarrolladores argentinos, en el cual pasamos desde batallas contra humanos o criaturas del Abismo hasta tomar mate y comernos un sanguchito de salame. La historia es muy entretenida y el modo de juego me recuerda bastante a los extraction shooters. Podemos craftear distintos objetos para sobrevivir, y las armas son bastante únicas y, muchas veces, rudimentarias. Tendremos que sobrevivir tanto a humanos, que muestran su maldad en los peores momentos, como a horrores cósmicos usando armas lejos de ser realmente efectivas.
Este es el demo; les dejaré el link para que puedan descargarlo y probarlo. Todavía no tiene fecha de salida, pero espero que sea en 2026. El juego me pareció muy bueno y bastante completo, incluso el demo ofrece muchas horas de juego.
Todavía le falta optimización; el juego se siente algo pesado, pero ajustando un poco los gráficos según el equipo que tengas, se puede solucionar.

Today we’re taking a look at The Path Into The Abyss, set in a post-apocalyptic world inspired by Argentina!
It’s a game set in Buenos Aires, where we experience a world devastated by cosmic horrors. The Abyss and its creatures destroy the world and trap humanity in a horrifying reality.
Here, we must survive and uncover what happened to our father, who went on an expedition to find out what happened to the world.
This is a game created by Argentine developers, where you can go from fighting humans or Abyss creatures to drinking mate and eating a salame sandwich. The story is very engaging, and the gameplay strongly reminds me of extraction shooters. We can craft different items to survive, and the weapons are quite unique and often very rudimentary. We must survive both humans, who show their darkest side in the worst moments, and cosmic horrors using weapons that are far from truly effective.
This is the demo; I’ll leave the link so you can download and try it. There’s still no release date, but I hope it launches in 2026. The game felt very solid and complete, and even the demo offers plenty of playtime.
The game still needs more optimization and can feel a bit heavy, but by adjusting the graphics based on your system, you can improve the performance.
